Gretchen on Phil:
Phillip and I met, as allegedly, 1 in 5 couples do these days, on Match.com. He was just taking over a new account managing multiple high rises in the Financial District, and I was working 2 jobs at 60+ hours a week with a literally non-existent social life. With time in short supply, internet dating seemed like the perfect solution. When Phil and I were put into each others path via the world wide web, things just clicked. I found someone who shared interests with me, had a similar upbringing, and most importantly, someone who had the propensity to listen as I babbled about any number of topics and respond with intelligent conversation. We spoke for nearly 3 months over the telephone before finally meeting. It was then when it truly clicked. As we had been in steady contact for a length of time prior, it seemed only fitting that we should get along so well once meeting in person. We met for our first date, met the next weekend following and were inseparable after that. What drew me to Phillip is his ability to make me laugh and smile. His good-natured attitude, willingness to listen, and fun nature make him a wonderful partner. His quiet voice and quick wit make him an even match to my boisterous attitude and methodical planning. They say opposites attract, and though we are not quite opposites, we complement each other nicely. There is no one in this world that I look forward to spending time with more. He truly is my favorite person, and I enjoy every day we are together.
Phil on Gretchen:
From the moment Gretchen and I went on our first date my whole world became a blur. Here was the one person I had been looking for my whole life. Her wonderful smile and beautiful good looks had butterflies in my stomach. Her quick wit and caring nature had me pinching my arm to make sure this was all real. As our relationship progressed I realized I had also found my best friend. I am the luckiest man in the world.

Hi, I’m loving your shots! I have been going through your photos from Gretchen and Phil’s wedding and are you able to recall if they had rented the room they had their ceremony in? Or is that a typical location for a walk-in/appointment ceremony? Also, what time of day would you recommend would be best for photos in regards to lighting in the building? Do you recall what day their wedding was? We are planning on having ours on a Friday however I am a bit worried it might be busy inside and full of tourists which may make taking photos difficult. In your experience, is two hours with your clients typically enough for taking photos on site and during the ceremony? We would be happy to pay for extra time as we are traveling to USA from Australia specifically for our wedding and want to ensure plenty of photos are taken. Thank you for taking the time to read my questions, I just want to do some research before I book everything in.
Regards, Carla
