The Vital Statistics!
Name: Rebecca Anne Wilkowski
Current City: San Francisco, CA
Hometown: Milwaukee, Wisconsin (yes, I’m a Cheese Head!)
Astrological Sign: Leo
Favorite Color: Orange (But sometimes green. Oh, and purple. Yeah, I’m really liking purple these days. And fuscia. Wait, that’s 4 colors.)
Favorite Food: Sushi
Favorite Beverage: Coffee. Lots of it!
Secret Indulgence: I’m hopelessly in love with my pug, Otis. Hopefully you’ll meet him one day, and I’m sure you’ll agree, he’s tops.
Favorite City: Any place I haven’t visited before! Really. I’ve been all over the US (including Hawaii and Alaska), Mexico, France, Ireland, Bali, Thailand, England. Next stop….Greece! (Did I mention I’m available for weddings and events world wide?)
Why Photography?: Simply said, images have the power to move people in ways that words alone often cannot.

Why Weddings?: I blame it on my dad, who was also a wedding photographer. I treat each wedding as if it were my own. I spend copious amounts of time planning and preparing. I get pre-wedding jitters, just like you. I’m overwhelmed with the joy of the first kiss. I get nostalgic when the bride and her father dance. I get down and boogie with the guests on the dance floor. And, (yes, I’ll admit it), I even cry as I edit the photos from each wedding. These images….YOUR images…are that beautiful. And it is this emotion that I strive to evoke in individuals when they see my work.
The “Look”: My style of photography draws upon my experience as a newspaper photojournalist. My wedding work has been referred to as “artistic”, “photojournalistic” and “candid”. I seek images that move people, those that capture the essence of what I am photographing. I always try to find new ways of seeing a scene differently, while still letting each individual’s personality shine through.
The “Vibe”: My presence is friendly and unobtrusive, as I believe in letting the day unfold naturally. I prefer to document moments in a hands-off manner whenever possible, as I believe people are their most beautiful and interesting when they are completely comfortable and able to be themselves. Most importantly, I believe in having fun, and lots of it!
The “Approach”: If you are my client, you’re incredibly important. Truly. I take on only a limited number of clients each year to ensure that each one is special. This allows me more time to become acquainted with my clients, understand their needs, and come away with a sense of their personality. I give my clients my full and undivided attention, thereby creating photos that reflect their personality in a way that is unique to them.

If I am correct – please let me know. You must be Ken Sr. youngest daughter. If so, I just would like to say – “My have you grown, Your are very beautiful and quite the go-getter. Your photography is beautiful – just like your dad’s was (or is)”
Blessings to You. Christine Beckman-Horner
