I was asked to cover this event by a local community newspaper, the Potrero View. Speaker Pelosi received a tour of the Food Bank’s warehouse, proceeded to help volunteers from a local elementary school package food, and then ended her visit with a press conference where she discussed the 150,000 residents in San Francisco at risk of hunger each year.
