STUDIO HEADSHOT PREP & ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS

LOCATION & ARRIVAL:

Address 185 Clara Street, San Francisco, CA 94107. The nearest intersection is 5th and Harrison.

• Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment time. If you arrive sooner, we may be with another client. When you arrive, Text Rebecca at (347) 413-4747 and she will buzz you into the lobby. Go up the stairs and have a seat in the waiting area. We'll be with you shortly!

• Please allow ONE HOUR for your photo session. If you have a hard stop, please let us know in advance.


PARKING & PUBLIC TRANSIT:

• Clara Street is a one lane, one way street. Parking on Clara street is a strict two hours - they will ticket ($110). On Sundays there is no time limit. If you need to move your car, you must move it OFF of Clara Street, not just down the street, or you may be ticketed. Our building has two large metal rollup doors, one on either side of the main door into the building. These are NOT active roll up doors, meaning, autos do not come in/out of them. Per our landlord, we are allowed to park in front of them. You may NOT however, park in front of any other driveway or gate, as you may be towed. If in doubt, text Rebecca.  Additional parking: There is also 4 hour metered parking on Harrison Street, and 90 minutes of free parking (with validation) in the Whole Foods parking garage at the end of the block.

• Arrival by Public Transit: The studio is also walking distance from Muni, CalTrain and BART as well as easily accessed by Uber/Lyft/Waymo.


HAIR, MAKEUP & WARDROBE:

• For guidance on how to prepare for your headshot - including hair, makeup and wardrobe - please visit my San Francisco Headshot Tips page.

• Please arrive to the studio fully prepared & ready to be photographed. You will have the option to touch up hair and makeup inside of the studio. We also have a garment rack and hangers for you to hang your wardrobe so feel free to bring several options to choose from if you're not sure what to wear.

You will be photographed against a white background. Please do NOT wear a white shirt, unless it is under a sweater, jacket or cardigan.


LATE ARRIVALS

Cancellation & Rescheduling policies will apply irrespective of the reason for the cancellation.

Late Arrivals:
• Client must notify Photographer at least 1 hour in advance if they anticipate being more than 15 minutes late. If you are running late, please text Rebecca at (347) 413-4747.
• Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may need to be rescheduled and will be treated as a same-day cancellation. The retainer will be credited toward a rescheduled date within 30 days of the original session date, subject to Photographer’s availability. Any balance paid will not be credited or refunded. Credits expire after 30 days. Late cancellations will count towards the reschedule limit.


RESCHEDULING & CANCELLATIONS

• More than 7 Days Notice: The 50% retainer is non-refundable and will be credited toward a rescheduled date within 30 days of the original session, subject to Photographer’s availability. Any balance paid WILL be credited too a new date within 30 days of the original session. If Client chooses not to reschedule, any balance paid will be refunded in full, minus any bank or credit card processing fees. Credits expire after 30 days.

• 7 Days or Less Notice: The 50% retainer will be credited toward a rescheduled date within 30 days, subject to Photographer’s availability. Any balance paid will NOT be credited or refunded. Credits expire after 30 days. This cancellation will count towards the reschedule limit.

• Rescheduling Policy: One reschedule is offered per person. If the second appointment is canceled or rescheduled, the appointment will still be billed in full. Client may reschedule one time within the 30-day window. If the rescheduled session is canceled, Client will forfeit 100% of the session fee as liquidated damages. By scheduling this appointment, you agree to the rescheduling policy.

• No Shows: If Client fails to appear for the session or arrives more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, the session will be deemed a no-show and will be billed in full to your company. No refund or credit will be issued.
